Obituary of Charles E Nelson

Charles E. Nelson passed away at his residence in Denville on June 20, 2004. He was 90 years old. Born in Flushing, NY he had moved to Chatham, NJ in 1942 prior to moving to Denville in 1999. He attended the University of WI and received a B.S. in Engineering in 1935. He went on to work at Johnson Controls Inc, of Milwaukee, WI as manager of Northern NJ Operations from 1953 to 1970 before he retired. He was a member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, as well as a member of the Chatham United Methodist Church, Chatham Community Players (Where he received the Shipler award) and Masonic Lodge No. 93 F. & A.M. He is pre deceased by his son Richard K. Nelson (2002). He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Nee Kessler) for 65 years, a son Robert J. of Succasunna, a sister Eunice Nelson of Naperville, IL 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren.
