Obituary of Robert A Greer

Robert A Greer, 64, died at home on Thursday after a long illness. He was a resident of Denville for 25 years.
He was a US Marine and worked as a type setter for the former Passaic Herald News for 29 years before retiring in 1999.
Mr. Greer who grew up in Caldwell is survived by his wife Betty; two daughters Tracy Zeglin of Mine Hill, Penny Starace and her husband Glenn of Mount Olive; his mother Dorothy LeVorse of Caldwell; two sisters and their husbands Lillian Lyons of Mine Hill and Barbara Black of Rockaway Boro; a brother James of Caldwell; and two step-daughters, Wendy Britton of East Stroudsburg and Dr. Kristen Britton of Hershey, PA.
Mr. Greer is also survived by three grandsons: Ryan, Michael, and Sean; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 am at Norman Dean Home for Services, Inc., 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Cremation will be private.
Friends will be received on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9pm at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
