Miriam Behrndt, 64 of Mission Viejo CA, formerly of Mountain Lakes, NJ for 21 years, died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 in the Mission Viejo Hospital, Mission Viejo, CA.
Born on Oct. 29, 1939 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Osvaldo and the late Francisca Colon Sotomayor.
Miriam was predeceased by her husband, William Buddy Behrndt who died in 1993.
She is survived by her daughter, Laura Dailey and her husband Tim, and grandaughter, Kayla, of Parsippany, NJ and son, William Bill Behrndt, and his wife Leslie, of Corona Del Mar, CA,
sister Emma Miranda of NY, and 3 brothers, Osvaldo Jr. Ozzie of Mountain Lakes, NJ, Harry of NY, and Edwin of NY.
She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Miriam was an active and social person and will always have a special place in the hearts of all her beloved family, and dear friends here as well as those in California where she had been residing.
Arrangements are by Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ (www.normandean.com). Visitation will be Tues. May 25 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Funeral services will be held on Wed. May 26 at 11 AM with the service conducted by the Rev. George Imhoff, officiating. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery, Dover.
