Ronald Anthony Polny, 70, died at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, NJ.
Mr. Polny was born in Bayonne and has been a resident fro 45 years in the Cedar Lake section of Denville, NJ. Mr. Polny was a Mechanical Inspector for Air Craft Radio, Rockaway Twp., for 18 years and for Smith Industries, Florham Park for 12 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3359 Our Lady of the Lakes, an avid fisherman, hunter, and photographer, and enjoyed auto racing.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Valerie M. Polny. His sisters survive him Irene Kollar and her husband Metro and Alma Leck and her husband Joseph both of Bayonne and Louise Doddrell of Australia, and he is the uncle of many nieces and nephews.
A memorial Liturgy of Christian Burial service on Friday May 14th at 10:00a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Mountain Lakes, NJ. Memorial donations to St.Catherine of Siena Church 10 North Pocono Rd., Mountain Lakes, NJ 07046 or Denville Fire Dept., 2 Indian Rd., Denville, NJ 07834 would be appreciated.
