Mr. Peter A. Ferrentino, 80, died on Friday February 13,2004 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ.
Mr. Ferrentino was born in Belleville; NJ had live in Denville, NJ for 35 years prior in Surf City, Long Beach Island, NJ and became a resident Fox Hills Rockaway Twp., NJ in 2000.
Mr. Ferrentino was a World War II United States Navy Veteran. He was the owner and operator of the Shear Motion Salon in Denville, NJ for 35 years retiring in 1990.He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3359 Our Lady of the Lakes Council, a member of the V.F.W. Post Mantokling, NJ, a past member and past President from 1974-75 of the Denville Rotary Club as well as a Paul Harris Fellow Rotary International recipient. He was a member and former Usher at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ
His wife Mary of 57 years, his children Jamie Windt of Hopatcong, Karen McDonough of Budd Lake, and Bruce Ferrentino of Hopatcong, survives him. His grandchildren survive him Mandee and Melissa Kern, Brian, Nicole, and Alicia McDonough, Ashley and Tyler Ferrentino, Joe and Coleen Windt, and Cari and Chris Strother. His sister survives him Molly Mastriani of Bloomfield, NJ
A funeral service from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ on Tuesday Feb. 17th at 8:30a.m.for a 10:00a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial Service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Interment Immaculate Conception Cemetery Montclair, NJ. Friends will be received Monday Feb. 16th 2-4 and 7-9PM.
