I am very sorry for your loss. I was a student of Cindy's at West Morris in the mid-1980s. I have often told a story of how one English teacher, in the course of teaching us Moby Dick, inspired me to step out of my self-imposed limitations and embrace the world more fully. I went on to a college in a city, and have become an urban person because she once told our class that everyone should live in a city at some point in their life. I am sure Cindy had this same impact on countless students over the years. On behalf of all of them, you have my thoughts and prayers.

i went to Hibernia School with your Mom back in the 40's and have pleasant memories of her. I also ws at Morris Hills with your Dad as the librarian. Sadly we did not see each other very often as we matured but those early years were memorable. Evelyn B.Hammaren

We are so sorry for your loss. We have fond memories of decorating your Christmas trees with our two daughters, playing bridge with your parents, and just treasuring our years of having them in our lives.

I considered myself very lucky to have worked with both your parents. Cindy was a brilliant scholar and teacher. We spent many years working on curriculum committees for the gifted and talented program where she contributed much to the success of the program.
