Obituary of Daniel R. Seyss

Daniel R. Seyss, 60, died on Monday January 12, 2004 at his home in Morrisville, N. C.
Dan was born in Maspeth, Queens, NY and had lived in Denville for 30 years before moving to Morrisville last month.
He had graduated from Susquehanna University with a B.S. in business in 1965.
He was in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He was a textile designer and had worked for Milliken Inc. and later for Cotton Incorporated both in New York before retiring.
He had always been active in Boy Scouts and as a young man he earned the Eagle Scout award. After moving to Denville he became active in Boy Scout Troop 118.
He and his wife Irene have been very active for many years with the St. Clares Harvest Festival in Denville and in 1989 and 1990 they were the co-chairmen and chairmen.
He was also active in King of Kings Lutheran Church in Mt. Lakes, NJ, where he had been a Sunday School teacher.
His wife Irene nee Hempel survives him. His sons Theodore D. of Charlotte, NC, and Thomas R. of Seattle, Wash. And his sister Elfie Kunzel of Denville, NJ.
He is also survived by 2 nieces, Susan Carroll of Stroudsburg, Pa. and Kristina Ambrosino of Sparta, and 2 nephews Walter Kunzel, and Robert Kunzel both of Denville, NJ.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 17, 2004 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services.
