Raymond V. Cooper passed away at St. Clares Hospital in Denville on December 19, 2003. He was 75 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY he had moved to Rockaway 40 years ago.
He served in the US Navy during WWII, and was a member of the Rockaway American Legion Park Lake Chapter.
He was a production Manager at the New York Times for over 40 years before retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Helen (Nee Higgins). His loving children Colleen (& Joseph) Reardon of Rockaway, Raymond (& Maureen) Cooper of Rockaway, and Jackie Cooper of Rockaway survive him. His grandchildren Raymond, Patrick, Brendan, Katie-Rose, and Joseph, and his sister Dolores Daly of Manasquan also survive him.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ (973) 627-1880 on Tuesday at 9:00AM for a Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. Cecilias Church in Rockaway at 10:00AM. Friends may visit on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
