William F. Weisnet, 85, died Sunday Nov. 30, 3003 at Saint Clares Hospital, Denville, NJ. Mr. Weisnet was born in Brooklyn, NY He summered in the Indian Lake section of Denville from 1956 and permanently became a resident of Denville in 1974.
Mr. Weisnet was a Lieutenant in the US Army Paratroopers 11th Airborne Division during WW II and received the Bronze Star twice. He was a member of the St. Marys Church, Denville Senior Citizens, and the Shoot the Breeze Club. Mr. Weisnet was employed as a Foreman for the NY Telephone Co., NY, NY for over 30 years and retired in 1978.
Mr. Weisnet was the loving husband of the late Mary T. Father of Mary Ann Romesser and her husband Thomas of Torrance, CA and Joseph Weisnet and his wife Phyllis of Denville, NJ. Also survived by eight grandchildren.
Funeral from Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ (973-627-1880, on Wednesday at 9:00AM for 10:00AM Liturgy of Christian Burial service at St. Marys Church Denville, NJ. Interment Denville Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
