I always loved going over to say hi.She had an amazing memory and made me laugh!Even though I didn't get to see her as much as I'd have liked to, she was often in my thoughts.I'll remember her as strong, independent woman that made me laugh!

Aunt Elsie, my favorite Aunt who was always kind, very understanding and so much fun when I was growing up, my friends loved her too.On my last vist to the US I introduced her to my husband who is English and she kept looking over at me asking me "what the heck is he saying I can't understand a word he's saying" God love her, a wonderful character of whom I have the most warm and loving memories. May she rest in peace.

Elsie was a spunkie lady who overcame a difficult life situation that left her a single mother. She was tough and strong and called it like it was. She was my kind of woman. We shall always remember her with very fond memories. ( I still have the beautiful glasses she gave us for a wedding gift 53 years ago, and do think of her every time I use them.)
