Florence (Beddow) Vorwerk, 96, passed away early Thursday morning, April 24, while at St. Clares Hospital. She had been residing at Merry Heart of Boonton Township for several years.
Florence grew up in Boonton, NJ and moved to Denville when she married and lived there most all her life until moving to Merry Heart.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Herbert in 1975. She spoke of Herb every day and how lucky she was to have had him in her life. She was also predeceased by all of her siblings, 8 in total Abe, Jack, Joe, Cliff, Leigh, Lorraine, Elsie, and Hazel.
She leaves behind a nephew, Edward (Teddy) Kayhart and his wife Marge of Whippany, NJ; several nieces including Joan Beddow of NJ; Carol Johnson of Barefoot Bay, FL; Joanne Denny of Woodstock, GA; Linda Dranetz of Chester, NJ; Kathy Feldman of Amherst, MA; several great-nephews and great-nieces, and several friends which include Ruth Kluft of Wanaque, NJ; Henry A. Kruger of Saylorsburg, PA; Paul Kruger of Denville, NJ; Karl H. Kruger of Woodbury, NJ; Madeline McCormick of Boonton, NJ; Virginia Barkoff of Rockaway, NJ; Sharon Horvath of Rockaway, NJ; Michele Hardy of Denville, NJ; and Paula DeBona of Bonnton, NJ.
A Funeral service for Florence will be held on Saturday May 3, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave. Denville, NJ www.normandean.com. Friends may visit from 9:00 AM until time of services.
