Mr. George E. Pennington Jr., 82 died Wednesday July 30, 2003 at St. Clares Hospital Denville, NJ. Mr. Pennington was born in Irvington, NJ and has lived in Denville since 1931.
Mr. Pennington was a World War II, serving in the United States Army Air Corp as a Staff Sergeant. Mr. Pennington was an electronic switchman for the NJ Bell for 43 years retiring in 1984. Mr. Pennington was a member of the Denville United Methodist Church and enjoyed Square Dancing.
Mr. Pennington was married for 54 years to Lois Black Pennington, his children Carole Marchesani of Blairstown, Ell Heck of Randolph, David of Chapel Hill, NC, Lynn Sedlak of Woodbridge, VA, and John of Rockaway, and his five grandchildren and one great grandson.
