Obituary of Roy F. Newcomer Sr.

Roy F. Newcomer Sr., 87, passed away July 23, 2003 at Renaissance Park Nursing Home in Lincoln Park, NJ. Born in Rock Bridge Baths, VA he had lived in the Bonx, NY before moving to Denville, NJ in 1987 and then to Boonton, NJ a year ago. He was a veteran of WWII where he was an Army Paratrooper. He had worked as a security guard for 15 years at Cornell Medical Center/ New York Hospital before retiring in 1976. He is pre deceased by his late wife Alma (Annajee) who died in 1987. He is survived by his sons: Roy F. Jr. (& Darlene), Robert Joseph (& Susan). Also by his daughters: Ruth Ann Newcomer, and Linda Marie (& Carmine) Mazzella. He is also survied by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, a brother Palmer, and a sister Lula (&Lewis). A memorial servoice will be held on Saturday August 2 at 2:00PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimers Association.
