Obituary of John P. Sulpy, Sr.

     Age 82, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on August 1, 1942, in West Orange, NJ, to Joseph and Minnie Sulpy, John was a man of great character whose kindness, humor, and caring nature made a lasting impression on all who knew him.

     John spent his childhood and teenage years in Livingston before moving to Mt. Tabor in his 20s. There, he became a dedicated volunteer fireman, serving the community for nearly 60 years. It was also in Mt. Tabor where John met and married the love of his life, Nancy. Together, they shared a bond that was truly extraordinary - building a life filled with adventure, love, friends, and family.

     John is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy; their children, Scott Pigeon (Kristen Tabor) and Tami Underwood (Daryl); and their grandchildren, Nicole Pritchard (James) and Natalie Underwood. His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
