I wish to express my deepest, most sincere condolences and sympathy to the entire Egbert family, and also to Tracy’s extended family by marriage. I have the fondest memories of being Tracy’s across-the-street neighbor on Brookview Road in Denville during the early years of my childhood. I’m so blessed to have had the opportunity to be friends with Tracy, as well as his brothers and sisters. They were fabulous neighbors and even better friends. I’m grateful and appreciate of the many years service that the Tracy and several members of his family provided the Denville community.
You will be missed Tracy. Thank you for the memories. They always bring a smile to my face so many years later.

My condolences to the entire Egbert family. I learned a lot about fire fighting when we were members of Valley View Company 3, and was honored to serve as his lieutenant. Through the years whenever I would meet him (usually at Shop Rite) we always spent some time catching up. Tracy was, and always will be, one of the good guys.

Tracy was such a nice person knew Tracy for years! Always went out of his way to say hello and as a past member of Rockaway twsp fire dept him and I crossed paths whether it was a call in Denville or Rockaway twsp even at the Denville carnival always great guy! My condolences to family and friends! May he rest in peace and my god watch over Tracy

Tracy you will be missed by so many. Some of my best memories were seeing your smile and joy as you drove the fire truck for Santa on Christmas Eve. When I was a kid it was so cool, but when I was able to see the excitement in my sons eyes knowing you were escorting Santa made Christmas even more magical.

Dawn, Scott, Jenna and family,

Growing up with The Egberts. Tracy was always being dispatched to a fire call. All us neighborhood kids be playing at the bottom of Brookview Rd, could hear Tracy coming and scatter. God bless him for his courageous and fearless public service.
