Obituary of Mary Ann Grasso
Mary Ann Grasso, 87, of Orange, New Jersey, surrounded by love from her family and friends, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at The Oaks in Denville.
Born on September 8th, 1937, to Bernard and Mary Corona, she was raised in Orange, NJ, where she met the love of her life, Alan Grasso. They married in 1959 and together they raised two devoted daughters in West Orange, New Jersey. Following the passing of her beloved husband, she moved to The Oaks in Denville, where she formed cherished new friendships. She will be remembered as a loving, selfless, and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, whose kindness and passion for life touched the lives of everyone around her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan. She leaves behind her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren; Alana and her husband John Recchia and their children Jaclyn and her husband Dylan Wilk, John Recchia Jr. and Nicholas Recchia; Arla and her husband Michael Morlock and their blended family: Anthony Barbaro Jr., Racquel and Shawn Olson and their two children, Nolan and Adilynn, Mason and his wife Amber Morlock and their daughter Evelyn, and Tierney Morlock.
Her loving and energetic spirit will be missed by all that knew her.

Friends and relatives are welcome to join the family for a public visitation on Monday, October 28th, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Norman Dean Home for Services, Inc., 16 Righter Ave, Denville, NJ 07834. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 29th, at 10 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Denville, NJ. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ where Mary Ann will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Alan.
