Obituary of Adam Michael Bleznick
Adam Michael Bleznick passed away suddenly in the comfort of his home with his family by his side on Sunday, June 2, 2024 in Denville, NJ. He had just celebrated sharing 40 years of unconditional love, priceless friendship, infectious laughter, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Born in Morristown to Howard and Linda (Violante) Bleznick, Adam was raised alongside his younger sister, Stacie, in Clifton and then Wayne, NJ. A graduate of Wayne Valley High School in 2002, Adam broke the mold and beat to his own drum. After many years of diligence and tenacity, Adam graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University earning his Bachelor’s Degree with a major in Communications and minor in History. He had many careers in his short time on this Earth, most recently as the Team Lead for the Fairleigh Dickinson Bookstore in Madison. He was able to travel all over the country as the Basketball Team Manager for FDU. His favorite career, the one he thrived at the most, was at the Wine Library in Springfield. Adam had this extraordinary talent when it came to wine, craft beer, and liquor, specifically Bourbon. He knew exactly which wine to pair with which meal and beyond, and we all took advantage of his passion and expertise as a true aficionado. Adam recently earned his WSET Level 2 Award in Wines and he was so proud.
Adam married his best friend and soulmate, Emmie, on September 17, 2016. The rest, as they say, is history. Adam and Emmie moved into their first home in 2018, Noah was born in 2020, and then they moved to their forever home in 2022, all in Indian Lake. Adam flourished as a husband, and eventually, as the best dad anyone could ever hope for. The sun rose and set on his son, Noah. Together they formed and unbreakable bond; they loved to go on walks, sing songs, and Noah could never resist asking Dad to say things in “Elmo voice”. He could put a smile or look of confusion on your face with one text. We will always miss his unpredictable knowledge on any possible topic. He was quirky and funny yet dependable and deep. We will miss him every day, but most of all on his favorite day, Christmas! Ever since he was a little boy, the only day that he wakes up early and eager for the day is on December 25th. He was an attentive husband, devoted dad, exceptional son, dependable brother, trustworthy friend, and so much more.
Family was Adam’s pride and joy and always came first in his life. While spending time with loved ones, he enjoyed watching sports! With season tickets, Adam and his family relished their time spent at Giants games, both in and out of the stadium. The love of the game and tailgating began at age 8 with his Dad; also with his Dad, he never turned down a chance to watch the UConn Huskies. Adam was amazing at doing research because he thoroughly enjoyed it! Because of him and Ancestry, we have the blessing of having family trees that go back three generations! He loved all things NJ, flyovers at football games, podcasts, reading, trivia, listening to music ranging from 50’s oldies to showtunes to punk rock, and being a part of the Indian Lake community.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved family members, his adored wife, Emmie; his treasured son, Noah; his cherished parents, Howie and Linda Bleznick; his loving maternal grandmother, Antoinette Violante; his loving sister and brother-in-law, Stacie and Nicholas Principe; his precious nephew and niece, Benjamin and Riley Principe; his doting parents-in-law, MaryBeth Salamone and Tony and Dawn Milbut; his caring brother-in-law and sister-in-law, A.J. and Britney Milbut; his faithful loving kitty cat, Tino; and many dear friends, neighbors, colleagues, students, and wine connoisseurs everywhere.
Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6th from 4 - 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ. On Friday, June 7th at 11 am at the Funeral Home, we will have a Celebration of Life for Adam. This means we will be telling stories and filling the hole in our hearts with the memories that he has left us with. We will encourage everyone that is comfortable to reminiscence what they will never forget about Adam. Please come prepared with your best and brightest memories of Adam Michael Bleznick.
