Rich was full of surprises. Some of my biggest with him are that he listened to and could sing along with many songs by Queen, and he actually went on a zip line with his son Alex and loved it, and he bought and drove a huge RAM Raptor truck and took a ride to Ellenville NY to take it on on an obstacle course that looked pretty scary to me. But above all, the biggest surprise is that he put up with all of the mess our family brought into his life with each visit or phone call or family party AND that he seemed to love us all for it. You were well loved Rich.

As one of the "coven" of sister in-laws, Rich lives on in my heart with many fun memories and just a touch of fear. He was a great man who made my sister's life better and was always there to help any one of us when needed. If I could have just stopped myself talking so much I think he would not have had to yell as much when I visited... well , that's my running joke with him anyway and I want to keep that memory too.
