Obituary of William Charles Thompson
It is with great sadness that we must announce the passing of William C. Thompson, who passed away on February 1 st , 2024 after a brief illness. William was a hardworking man that was kind, but stern. Some would venture to say he was stubborn, but others may call it firm in his beliefs. He was good with his hands and considered himself a handyman that often
did repair work. He took pride in his job and also in his service during his time in the National Guard.
Though William’s passing brings us sadness, we can take comfort in knowing that he is at peace, resting in Heaven. We look now to comfort those he leaves behind. William’s survivors include his beloved son, Daniel William Thompson, as well as his siblings, Roger Thompson, Betty Jean Stewart, and Julie Jones. If you would like to contribute to William’s
memory in your own way, please pay the kindness forward and do something nice for someone else the next chance you get.
A memorial service will be held for William on Monday, February 12 th at 10 AM at Norman Dean Home for Services, followed by an interment service at First Presbyterian Church
Cemetery of Berkshire Valley in Wharton, NJ, at 11:15 AM.
