Obituary of Kelly John Rozansky
Kelly John Rozansky passed away suddenly in a tragic accident on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Webb, NY. He was doing what he loved most, riding his snowmobile, with people he loved. Kelly was 56 years young. In his short time on this Earth, he has left us with an undeniable legacy that will last forever.
Born on a cloudy brisk day in September to the late John Stanley and Gloria Rozansky, Kelly grew up in Secaucus alongside his two older and one younger brothers. He graduated from Secaucus High School, Class of 1985, before earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Rutgers University. Kelly came into this world with an instinctual drive to lead. He was an entrepreneur, before his time. All Wet Irrigation Lawn Care Lighting began in Dover, NJ. This company was extremely successful because of the Boss. Kelly was a pioneer in the industry not only for his attention to detail, honesty, and good work, but also because he treated everyone with respect. He wanted to help others, not take advantage. This was true for competitors in the business and customers alike. Kelly won The Jeffrey Scott Mighty Oak Award in 2019; he was a member of Irrigation Peer Group where he made lifelong friendships.
Kelly’s greatest achievement, pride, and joy, more than his successful business, was his family. He married his best friend and soulmate, Patricia Kay Rozansky, on December 12, 1998. They walked on this rollercoaster we call life, hand in hand, always having one another’s backs. Their love story began in Wallington, and eventually into Green Pond Lake in Rockaway Township where they began a family of their own. In 2009, they moved to their forever home in Kinnelon as a happy family of four. Kelly adored his sons, making sure to be present in every aspect of their lives, from football games to family dinners and everything in between. Countless memories were made every summer, especially in Laurel, NY.
Kelly was honest, kind, and hilarious. He could make anyone laugh, at any time, in any situation. He was that kind of man. He was generous and humble, yet confident and competitive. He was a mentor to many and a friend to all. His sense of humor was unrivaled. We will never forget his adventurous spirit, infectious smile, and desire to do good, be better, and spread love. Although we are deeply saddened by his passing, we take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his parents, John and Gloria, his brother, John Stanley Rozansky, Jr., and his sister-in-law, Delilah Rozansky.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of his beloved wife of 25 years, Patricia Rozansky; his treasured sons, Logan Patrick Rozansky and Brody Chase Rozansky, and Hussein Shareenzada, whom he loved like a son; his loving brothers, Robert John Rozansky and Timothy Rozansky; his caring mother-in-law, Mari Thornton; his dear siblings-in-law, Timothy (Emily) Thornton, Britt Thornton, and Deanna Lynn Rozansky; his cherished nieces and nephews, Timothy John Rozansky, Jr., Benjamin Timothy Rozansky, Amanda Kate Rozansky, Grayson Thornton, and Alma Grace Thornton; his loyal pup, Brooke; and countless friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
Public Visitation will be held on Monday, February 5th from 4 - 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834. Visitation will also be held on Tuesday, February 6th from 9 - 11 am, followed by an 11 am Funeral Service, all at Norman Dean Home for Services. Entombment will immediately follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
