Obituary of Scot Francis Murray

Scot Francis Murray, 62, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away on September 18, 2023. Born on February 22, 1961,
in Queens, N.Y., Scot was a charismatic and adventurous individual who believed in living life to the fullest.
He was a successful entrepreneur, starting businesses in recruiting and real estate investing. Scot took great
pride in his achievements and was known for his positive attitude and determination to overcome adversity.

Scot valued his relationships with family, friends, and his beloved dog, Sophie. He found joy in socializing with
his loved ones and always made them feel important. Throughout his life, Scot worked diligently, starting with
various jobs at his family's ski center, Craigmeur. However, he never let work consume him and never lived to work.

Scot is survived by his partner Kathleen Yohe, his siblings and their partners: Lori and Chris Joyce, John and Marlene
Udell, Rick and Sharon Murray, Sheri Udell Silverman, and Amy and Carl Weiss. He is also survived by his aunts Marilyn
Reilly, Sonia Murray, and Uncle James Murray, as well as nephews, grandnephews, nieces, grandnieces, cousins, and friends.
Scot was preceded in death by his father, Richard Murray, and his mothers, Dorothy Gentry Murray and Kathleen Bruder Murray.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 24, from 2-5 p.m., at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue,
Denville, NJ, (973) 627-1880. Additionally, a celebration of life will be held in Jacksonville, FL on a date to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions may be made in Scot's memory to the Tom Coughlin Jay Fund or a charity of your choice.
Scot supported the fundraising efforts of the Jay Fund, which provides emotional, financial, and practical support to families
tackling childhood cancer. The Jay Fund has connections to both Scot's beloved Giants and Jacksonville, FL.

Scot Murray will be remembered for his zest for life, his unwavering positivity, and his dedication to his loved ones.
