Condolences and prayers to my Uncle Don’s wonderful family and many friends.
He will undoubtedly be missed, but forever remembered fondly by everyone who's lives he touched. Many people have left lasting impressions on us, however the truly special ones can leave us with so many happy thoughts of their kindness, generosity, warmth, knowledge and humor in a way that could impress these wonderful memories so vividly and clear for close to 60 years as in my case.
I can remember being a very young child and my Uncle Don taking me for an ice cream soda in Livingston and playing catch in front of my grandparents’ house there. A few years later he would often take me fishing and once handed me the fishing pole with a prize winning trout on the line resulting in a picture of an 11 year old me holding it up proudly in the local paper. Uncle Don would also take us skiing and patiently teach us how to snowplow initially and then eventually more advanced techniques through the years.
I can recall him bringing me a small replica of an airplane wing that he was training to repair while he was in the service (which I thought was cool and made a great ramp for my Hot Wheels cars), and I also specifically remember many gifts he gave us on birthdays or at Christmas.
As terrific as he was to my sister and myself as children, he was just as great to know as we became adults and eventually our own children began to create their own memories of Uncle Don.
We are all very blessed to have had him in our lives and will never forget everything he meant to us all.
Much love,
Mike, Karen, Ryan, Brenna and Callie Andersen

Don and I were buddies. We were much alike. Some even asked if we were brothers. Don and I performed side work together, skied together, hiked, played golf and bicycled together. I even tried to fish with Don, having caught one trout and one striper on two different outings while he caught at least ten times that.
Don was very active with the ski club and the was ultimate outdoors man.
Don, You Are Sorely missed by All. Rest in Peace, Rich Stehlik

Don was my brother-in-law. We met many years ago
in ski-club. Traveling together, playing tennis, going
to the lodge in Vermont, Skiing in Switzerland & more,
doing it together. I have wonderful memories of Don. Always there to give a helping hand. He was liked by all. He will surely be missed by friends & family.
Don left us way too soon.
