Our thoughts and prayers to the Schoder family. Helen was such a beautiful example to all of us; what a privilege to have spent some time with her and Erlo when they came to Florida years ago. She was always smiling! Most of all we are so thankful for the legacy she leaves behind. Love to you all.

Helen was such a beautiful person. Her smile told you about her inner piece and faith. I enjoyed talking with her at the Morristown Meth. church and in the neighborhood when I lived on North Star Drive. She allways asked about others. She leaves beautiful memories of a life well lived.

Way back on August 15th of the year 1918, "Nanni" Nebel gave birth to a ray of pure sunshine. She named her firstborn child "Helen", a very appropriate choice since that was the name of the ancient Greek goddess of light.
Although I didn't exist at the time, I have to believe that Helen was a delightful child who brought great joy to all who knew her. When I arrived on the scene, she turned out to be the big sister that every little boy could only hope for. She helped me with my first attempts on the piaqno keys; she helped me with my earliest school days; she taught me about honest and doing the right thing; she taught me a little ditty with the message, "Don't do that to the poor pussy cat, no no no no no!" And in those dark days after we lost our beloved mother, Helen became my little teenage mother for a little while. My only regret is that she moved out of our house to start her own
family when I was just about seven years old. I was too young and immature to realize what treasure she had been.
In the many strange ande wonderful years that followed, she spread sunshine wherever she went and on all who crossed her path. I honestly can't remember any disagreeable times with Helen and her family. We were always welcome and vice versa. We shared many occasions, especially birthdays and holidays.
Helen was blessed with many gifts, including a great sense of humor, a very compassionate nature, and a willingness to listen to other peoples troubles and joys. She played many roles and enriched the lives of all who knew her. It was heartbreaking to witness her suffering of these last few years. Of all people, she deserved a happier ending to a life well lived. May she rest in peace.

I have so many nice memories of Gram...Her incredible patience and encouragement while trying to teach me how to play piano, watching her take over an hour trying to get into the cool Lake George water, watching her and Grandpa dance around the living room floor...I always joked about how she had a song for every occasion, and now that I have kids I am so grateful to know those songs...How Much is That Doggie in the Window? Sick It Sock It Ride a Fad...Mares Eat Oat and Does Eat Oats.
Gram will live with me in my heart forever.

I was distressed to hear of Helen's passing and I am sorry I can't be with the family during this stressful time.
I remember my mother saying that Helen babysat me during our time in Ridgefield and as mother had to work. Only wish I could have had those memories but I was just to young.
Love and Blessings to all,
Keith Kyle & Lois Cremonni
