Obituary of Brendan J. Dermody

 

Brendan John August Dermody, 38, passed away on Thursday, May 26th, 2022. He was predeceased by his mother Wendianne. He is survived by his father James, his sisters Megan and Keara, and his son Jackson.

Brendan was born in Manhattan and raised with his sisters in New Jersey. He was passionate about music and endlessly creative, becoming a skilled drummer in his early years. He became interested in business and earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 2010 and his master’s degree from Villanova University in 2017. He distinguished himself as a Forbes Under 30 game-changer in 2016 for his entrepreneurial spirit.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 4th from 2 - 5 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville, NJ 07834 with a Celebration of Life beginning at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations in Brendan’s honor be made to the Johns Hopkins Lyme Disease Research Center by way of www.inmemof.org to ensure receipt of your donation.
