Elsie Picciallo (Torres) passed away at her home in Rockaway Township, NJ on January 16, 2013 at the age of 80.
Born and raised in New York City she had lived in Parsippany for most of her life before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ 15 years ago.
Elsie worked at Gerald’s Hallmark Card & Gift Store in Parsippany, NJ, and she spent her life dedicated to her children and her grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister Iris Sluka in 1989.
Elsie is survived by her Children Lisa & her husband David Whipple, Diane & her husband Mitchell Feinberg, and Joseph & his wife Cecilia Picciallo, along with her 7 grandchildren; Lauren, Emily, Rececca, Eugene, Julia, Ava and Sophia. She is also survived by her sister Marta Rielly and brother Eugene Torres as well as many nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will begin at 9AM on Saturday January 19, 2013 at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 and then going to St. Ann’s Church in Parsippany for a 10AM Liturgy of Christian Burial Mass. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9PM.
