Obituary of John Peter Bromley

John Peter Bromley, 82, died on Monday February 3, 2003 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville following a short illness.
He was born in Austria, in 1920 and came to America after Austria was invaded by the Germans in the late 1930s.
He had severed in the U. S. Army during WWII, and had been an interpreter during the Battle of the Bulge.
Following the war, he went to New York University where he received a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering. He then went to work for the Government at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township, where he worked for forty years retiring in 1995.
He had been an active member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Randolph for over 40 years.
He was an avid photographer.
There are no surviving relatives, however there are many friends he had made over the years living and working in Morris County.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday February 16, 2003 at 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 319 Quaker Church Road Randolph, NJ 07869. Donations in his name are being accepted to the Church.
