She was a former resident of Livingston of 40 years. She was a parishioner and Eucharistic minister of the church and also prepared meals for the nuns and priests at Saint Philomena's church in Livingston. She was formally employed by Prudential insurance company in Florham Park, New Jersey. Vi grew up in Newark New Jersey. She loved to cook, bake and take care of her family. Beloved wife of Salvatore, (1988), of 40 years. Leaving behind two daughters; Rose Hanshaw and her husband Frank of Florida, and Kathy Quinn and her husband Jack of Rockaway Township; granddaughters Christina Quinn and Jacqueline Baeder and her husband Michael; and a great grandson Jackson Baeder, all of Rockaway Township. Vi’s funeral will be conducted from Norman Dean Home For Services 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ www.normandean.com, (please share a memory of Vi on website) on Friday January 18th at 8:30am for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial service at St. Mary’s Church Wharton, NJ, committal interment service at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received on Thursday January 17th at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9pm.
