Dear Pat, Jennifer, Jeff, and your family,
I am heartbroken to hear the news about Don. Although I did not see him for many years, I knew him as a generous, caring man, with a great sense of humor. We had so many wonderful, fun times with Lakeland Corvette Club, leading into a close, personal friendship between us. He was always willing to lend a hand, listen, or crack a joke. Knowing he has left us leaves a sad void. I like to think he has joined all of our mutual friends in heaven; heaven will surely be a much better place with Don, but life here will never be the same. I am so very sorry. For all of us.

My sincere condolences for your loss. Don and I were classmates and friends at Our Lady of the Valley High School. We lost close contact after graduation as I spent my life far away from NJ, but I've often reminisced about the good times and minor adventures we had through our love of cars (Hey! It was a teenage boy thing!) I'm very happy to hear that Don had a good life with a loving family. He deserved the very best.
