Bob was a neighbor of mine for over a decade in the Lake Arrowhead community. Today he was on my mind during the summer solstice. Around 2018/2019 or so, Bob stopped by to offer help with the weeds in my driveway, but we ended up talking about the summer solstice instead. Bob explained how the summer solstice works, which I now remember all these years later. I will never forget that special day... to be privileged enough to hear from a brilliant mind sharing his knowledge. Bob is very much missed and remembered.

My Dear Brotheri-in-law Bob,
I was looking forward to talking about your gardens and sharing our special plantings . I wanted to listen to your take on nature and the world we live in as the weather is affected by climate change . I wanted a chance to see more of your artworks .
I was planning to treat you to more biscotti
( without chocolate ), which I know you were trying to resist. So many more flavors to come! I thought we had more time together. I’m sad that we don’t . Thank you for loving me , I love you too .
Hugs forever , Anne Kaufmann Draper

Bob was indeed a kind soul who could beat anyone at Trivia Pursuit! He did March to the beat of his own drum and that is just fine! His face would light up when talking about his family and pets. I’ll miss the stock tips! I’m glad he is reunited with his wonderful family on his spiritual journey!
Much love, Jackie and Bob Carey
