Obituary of David John Kennedy

David John Kennedy passed away on January 28, 2003. He was 81 years old. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he had moved to Denville, NJ 48 years ago. He had served in the Armed Forces during WWII and then went on to become an X-Ray Technician. He had worked at Lyons V.A. Hospital for 35 years before retiring in 1987. He then went to work at Morristown Memorial Hospital for 13 years. He had been a long time member of the Denville Knights of Columbus. Survivors include his wife Marjorie Elizabeth (nee Kennedy) of 50 years. His children Maria Wheelock of Denville, Laura (& Rick) DeFreytag of Canadensis, PA, and Michael (& Vicky Kennedy) of Rockaway Boro. Grandchildren Autumn, Tanya, Melanie, Sam, Kyle, Michael, David and Alyssa. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday February 1, 2003 at 1:00 PM.
