Obituary of Frederick Morgan “Fred” Barth Sr

Frederick Morgan Barth Sr., died on Friday Evening January 24, 2003 at Franciscan Oaks Health Center in Denville, NJ. He was 82, born in Manhattan, New York, and moved to Bethpage, Long Island in 1954. He served in WWII in the U. S. Army Aircorp. Following the war, he worked for Grumman Aerospace Corp. in Bethpage, Long Island in several capacities mostly as a manager in the Technical Publication Department. He retired in 1987 after working for thirty years. He had been a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, as well as the Long Island Early Flyers Club. His Wife Marjorie K. Barth died on June 19, 2000. He is survived by his son and his wife Fred and Janice Barth of Stockholm, NJ. Two Grandsons Robert Michael Barth and Brian Patrick Barth. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 28, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
