Obituary of Christopher N Severud

Christopher N. Severud, 79 died on Thursday December 19, 2002 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville, NN following a short illness. He was born in Bogota, NJ and had lived in Hackensack, before moving to the Cedar Lake section of Denville 21 years ago. He moved to Fox Hills in Rockaway Township this past June. He was an army veteran of WWII. He had worked as a Computer salesman for thirty-five years for the I. B. M. Corp. in New York and later in New Jersey, retiring in 1978. He is survived by his wife Helen nee Bernstorf with whom he was married to for 46 years. He also has three sons Christopher Jr. of Boise, Idaho, Geoffrey of Bergenfield, and Stephen of Flanders. A brother Fred of Bergenfield, and a sister Louise Funke of Wyckoff. He also has six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Sunday December 22, 2002 at 4:00 PM at the funeral home, and friends may visit with the family from 2:00 PM until time of services.
