Obituary of Raymond E. McConchie Sr.

Raymond E. McConchie, 86, died on Thursday Dec. 12, 2002 at St. Clares Hospital in Denville,NJ. He was born in East Orange, NJ and had lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to the Lake Arrowhead section of Denville,NJ in 1959. He was a Technical Sergeant in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had served in the Rhineland and Central European Theaters and received two bronze service stars. He had been a supervisor for the Lock Joint Pipe Co. later known as Interpace Corporation of Wharton, NJ where he had worked for 43 years, retiring in 1981. He was a member of the National American Legion. He was survived by his Wife Evelyn E. nee Jarry. two sons, Raymond Jr. of Westminster, Md., and Richard of Buchanan, Va. Three Grandchildren, Jesse, Colin, and Kacey. Three sisters, Peggy Shipman of Lompoc, Ca. Sally Rumph of Whiting, NJ, and Viola Constable of Sparta, NJ. A brother Charles of Sparta,NJ. Funeral Services will be held on Monday Dec.16, 2002 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday Afternoon from 2 to 5 PM.
