This current year 2020 has been a game changer for the whole world with the impact of the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic. I'm thinking of you Roger. Today is January 21, 2020. You're always in my heart and prayers. I thank God for the lifetime memories we were able to share in the short period of time we knew each other on this side of eternity. It's been 17 years since your passing in December 2002 from this world to the eternal world which is our true home with our Lord and Savior Jesus and those who rest in Him. I will always remember the laughter, fun and adventures we shared. I always loved that "jersey" accent of yours and you telling me that those born and raised in New Jersey knows that the car license plates of New Jersey are "straw" colored not "yellow". I'll always remember your thoughtful ways in which you treat people, your crazy sense of humor and the love that comes from your heart. I remember you making a point to tell me when I visited you for Thanksgiving 2002 that "no matter what happens in this world that you will always be in my heart". Your statement made a big impact on me when sadly, my brother and I flew from Key West Florida to New Jersey in learning of your unexpected passing to attend your wake and then your funeral on December 9,2002. Your uncle who was there livened up the place with his humor and contagious laughter when he was talking about treating his wife like a "princess" amidst the somber ocassion. I can tell where you got your laughter and sense of humor from. I've visited yours and your parents' grave site a few times through these years and God willing, plan on visiting again in the near future to pay my respects. Each day the Lord blesses us with is truly a gift that we should live fully and share with others. The gestures I've read from those who have known you through the years are touching. The ones that stands out to me are from your childhood friend Chris Reilly. I remember when we were in Provincetown and there was a car show going on, you mentioned that you had a childhood buddy that you shared a love of cars with. I can only hope to get to know Chris someday to exchange experiences shared with you. You've always told me that you planned on retiring in the Florida Keys. I'm glad you were able to visit with my family and I in Key West in October 2002. What a great time you and I had enjoying the beach at Cheeca Lodge in Islamorada and also the Halloween festivals in Key West. I included a couple pictures - one of which you took of me in a suite we stayed at in Cheeca Lodge sitting on a coffee table, and the other at Newark Liberty airport when I was about to depart from my visit with you Thanksgiving of 2002. Thank you Roger for sharing your life, friendship and love with me. "God Bless And Keep You In His Sacred Heart Now And Forever"!

Dearest Roger - I think of you many many times! I miss your infectious laugh and could still hear it! I'm sure you laughed at my last post saying it's almost 14 years your gone! (You know I was bad in math thus failing the math portion of the Broker's Exam first time around!) I cannot believe it's almost 13 years! I still miss you terribly! We listed and sold our home in Randolph using Doug Tucker! Doug had great stories about you when you and Doug were at Weichert in Morristown together. Roger I will never forget you and I hope we will continue the good times when we meet again!! Happy Holidays and Happy Anniversary my friend.
