Please share a memory of Anita to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Anita L. O’Hara passed away peacefully at 81 years old in her home in Denville with family by her side on June 5, 2018.  Her graceful spirit and love for life will be missed by many.

She was born to Joseph and May Klein (Stehlik) on November 7, 1936 in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.  After high school she met her husband, Peter O’Hara Sr., and moved to Maplewood, NJ.  They continued to raise their family in Denville for the last 50 years.  Anita’s family made up the core values of her life and they were blessed with many beautiful memories.  She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  She loved to have fun playing tennis, bowling and creating stained glass; for she was a very talented artist.

She leaves happy memories to her beloved husband of 61 years, Peter O’Hara Sr.; caring children Peter O’Hara Jr., Mark O’Hara (Marilyn), Tracey O’Hara (Stuart Landow), Jennifer Imbornone and Paul O’Hara; cherished grandchildren Sean, Nadia, Anita and Salvitore and many other dear relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will take place at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville on Sunday, June 10 from 12 – 2 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the good works of Doctors without Borders by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org.  Please visit www.normandean.com to share a memory or leave a condolence for the family.
