Obituary of Kyle Ratliff

Please share a memory of Kyle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change;

courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.

Kyle W. Ratliff passed away on Friday December 1st.  He shared 28 years of love and laughter with all who knew him.  Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8th from 5-8 pm at the Norman Dean Home For Services, 16 Righter Avenue, Denville.  A Prayer Service will begin at 7:30 that evening.  In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the good work of Liquid Church by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org

Kyle was born in Passaic to William and Kathleen (nee Pandorf) on July 28, 1989.  He grew up in Rockaway, graduating from Morris Hills in 2007.  Kyle was a funny kid, always a jokester and joy to be around. He was a HUGE sports fan, always cheering on his NY Yankees, Miami Dolphins and even traveling by car more than once for his beloved Oklahoma City Thunder.  Kyle loved music and was a Petty and Beatles fan till the end.  He loved his car and worked for some time at Honda. Most recently he was working hard at school earning his Master Plumber license.  He enjoyed using his hands and tinkering and figuring stuff out. Above everything in this world though, Kyle loved his family.

He was a devoted and loving husband to Amanda (nee Garthwaite); adored son to William and Kathleen Ratliff; brother and brother in law to Ryan and Chrissy and brother to Kristin Ratliff. Ryan and Kyle were inseparable most, if not all of their lives. Kyle was the adored Dad and best friend to Sergio.  He was the beloved Grandson to William and Irene Ratliff; nephew to Joni and Joseph Aragona; John and Joy Pandorf and Keith Ratliff; brother in law to Jake Garthwaite; and son in law to Barbara Garthwaite. He also leaves his loyal canine Duke and many more relatives, friends and acquaintances.  His Grandparents John and Barbara Pandorf passed previously.
