Please share a memory of Eva to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Eva Maria Sedek, of Denville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Morris Hills Center in Morristown. Born and raised in Lublin, Poland, she came to the U.S. in 1986 with her husband Greg and their three children, settling first in the Chicago suburb of Oak Park and finally in Denville, where they have resided for the past 28 years. Eva was a strong woman who took pride in everything that she did, both professionally as a local realtor and personally as a fantastic cook and gardener, growing vegetables, flowers, and everything in between. She was also a very talented painter and has adorned her family's home in Indian Lake with her paintings and crafts. Above anything else, family was number one in her life. She adored spending time with her family and loved being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She has left us with a legacy of unconditional love and faith that we will treasure forever. Left to keep her legacy alive is her beloved husband of 46 years, Greg; her adored children, Ursula, Michael, and Martin; her daughters-in-law Kelley and Eileen; her cherished grandchildren, Dylan and Julia; her caring sisters, Krystyna and Jolanta; and so many other extended family and friends who have known her. Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, March 25th at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s RC Church, 15 Myers Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Memorial Visitation will take place on Friday, March 24th from 6 – 8 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. You may leave a condolence and special memory for her family.
