Obituary of Judith Mary Whalen

Judith M. Whalen passed away at her home in Rockaway Twp., NJ on December 5, 2016, at the age of 70. Born in Queens NY, she lived in the Rainbow Lakes section of Parsippany before moving to Rockaway Twp., NJ in 2006. Judy graduated High School from The Mary Louis Academy in 1963 and became an RN at St John's Queens Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1966. While working full time and raising 4 children, Judy returned to school and earned her Bachelor's degree from Upsala college. She continued on with her education and received her M.B.A from Montclair State University. Judy worked as a registered nurse at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville for many years in the ER and in Labor and Delivery. She moved into the Risk Management department at St. Clare's Dover campus, and finished her career in Risk Management at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is survived by her loving children Tom & Susan Forgione of Denville, Helen & Guy Bradfield of Philipsburg, Patrick Forgione of Livingston, NJ and Daniel & Amanda Forgione of Glendale, CA. Her grandchildren Sean, Jack, Nicholas, Arya and Evangeline also survive her. Visitation will be at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Ave Denville, NJ 07834 on Sunday December 11th from 1-4 PM. The funeral will be at 10 AM on Monday December 12, 2016, at St. Mary's Church in Denville.
