Winifred T. Coad passed away peacefully at Hackettstown Medical Center on Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the age of 93. Born and raised in Hamilton, Bermuda, that is where she met and married her soulmate, Kenneth Henry Thomas Coad. She was an amazing wife and homemaker until her husband passed in 1973 when she was forced to join the workforce to take care of her children. She was a member of the Imperial Order Daughter's of the Empire and Meals on Wheels for over 30 years, both in Bermuda. She loved gardening, flowers, knitting, and crocheting. The most important thing in her life was her family. Winifred was a very classy, proper, sweet, courteous, distinguished, warm, loving, kind woman, wife, mother, friend, and soul. She always had a smile on her face, and it was very contagious. She will remain in our hearts and souls forever. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Kenneth, her siblings, Donald Tatem, Helen Long, Maurice Morris, Aimee Marsh, and Marjorie Davis, and daughter-in-law, Judith Coad. Left to keep her legacy alive is her adored children, Noel Coad and Lynn Coad; her cherished grandchildren, Terri Ann DiMarco and her husband Vincent and Danny Coad and his wife Jennifer Hoff; her doted great-grandsons, Tyler Joseph and Nicholas Daniel DiMarco; her loving brother-in-law, Michael Davis; her caring niece, Diane McKenna and her husband Bill and nephew, Peter Marsh and his wife Karen and both of their families; her closest friend, Joan Tatem; her neighbor/adopted family, Patricia and Manuel Amaral; and many other extended family and friends. Public Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19th from 7 – 9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ 07834. Memorial Donations can be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association by way of www.inmemoryof-memorial.org. Please leave a condolence for her family.
