Obituary of Richard J. Micchelli

Richard J. Micchelli passed away at St. Clare's Hospital in Dover, NJ on September 29, 2016. He was 79 years old. Born in Newark, he had lived for many years in Mt. Lakes before moving to Denville, NJ 23 years ago. Richard was the owner and president of Orpheus Ltd. In Rockaway, NJ for 43 years before retiring in 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife of 31 years, Jane C. (Scott) Micchelli of Denville, NJ. He is also survived by his loving children Richard J. Micchelli Jr. and his companion Ignathea Barrett of Hamilton, NJ and Bernadette M. Micchelli of Weehawkin, NJ, as well as his step son Mark A. Gravely of Hammonton, NJ and his brothers Charles Micchelli and Robert Micchelli. A memorial celebration will be held at Norman Dean Home for Services 16 Righter Avenue Denville, NJ 07834 on Thursday October 13, 2016 from 10 – 12pm with a religious service beginning at 11;30am.
