Obituary of Jim Michael Reeck

Please share a memory of Jim to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Jim Michael Reeck, of Denville, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Morristown Medical Center. He was 66 years young. Born in Lawrence, MA, as a child he grew up in many different places in New York. In 1985, he settled down in Denville to raise his family. He retired in 2015 after a very successful 16 year career as the Senior Database Administrator for Rabobank Nederland in New York, NY. Jim was a very hard worker. With his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his puppies, relaxing, listening to music, and watching TV. He was a funny and sarcastic man with a dry sense of humor. Above anything else, his main joy and love in life was his family. He was a very supportive and attentive husband and father. He will live on in our hearts and souls for eternity. Left to keep his legacy alive is his beloved wife of 38 years, Linda; his cherished children, Justin, Andrew, and Lisa Reeck; his loving sisters, Maureen Milici and her husband Michael, the late Rita Reeck, and sister-in-law Stephanie Boffice; his caring nephew, Anthony and nieces, Anna and Andrea; his worshiped pups, Molly, Sam, Brody, and Tink; and many other cousins, extended family, and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 12th at 10:00 am at St. Mary's RC Church, 15 Myers Ave., Denville. Burial will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover. Public Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville. Jim requests that for his viewing and Funeral, no one comes wearing black. Memorial Donations can be made in his memory to WFUV Radio 90.7, Fordham University, Bronx, NY 10458-9993. Please leave a condolence for his family.
