Stanley Warren “Butch” Holt passed away on Sunday May 1, 2016. He was 74. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will begin at 10 am on Thursday May 5th at the Norman Dean Home for Services, 16 Righter Ave., Denville, NJ with a Catholic prayer service beginning at 11am. Donations in his name by way of www.inmemory-memorial.org may be made to Operation Jersey Cares, supporting deployed and returning troops. Born in Elizabeth, Stan grew up in Roselle, NJ. At a young age, his father Stanley Holt, Sr. passed away, leaving his mother Edna to raise the kids. The family summered in Seaside, NJ, a tradition which Butch carried on with his own kids and grandkids. He loved his trips to the NJ shore. After his schooling, Stan proudly served his country with the US Army. Following his honorable discharge, he settled in Denville where he raised his own family. He worked for Avdel and later Fast Bolt for many years. He was a pioneer and frankly, a master of his business. He exceeded any goal ever put before him and served proudly as a Director of Global Business Development. He truly was a phenomenal sales force. He enjoyed his work as it afforded him time to meet many people and form lasting relationships. Most recently, Stan was self-employed as the owner of Stanley Holt Associates. He was an uncompromising NY Giants fan, a history buff and an avid reader. Above everything in this world, he loved his family the most. Dad and Grandpa were his greatest titles, he was incredibly proud of his family. Predeceased by his parents Edna and Jerry DeParlier; he is survived by his wife Andrea Sciro; loving children Tamblyn Abrusci (Vito), Timothy Holt, Erica Letos (Peter), and Jennifer Marks (Robert); step children Thomas and Andrew Sciro, Noelle Reverendo (Dr. Lee); adoring grandchildren Sean, Andrea and Alyssa Abrusci, Leon Holt, Livia Letos, Tyler, Raegan and Chase Collins Marks, and Corinne and Ava Reverendo; former spouses Darlene Vance and Janice Elias; siblings Robert Holt (Kathy), Sherry Lynn De Parlier; the Flaherty, Collins and Holt Families and many dear friends.
